2. Is there a fee to use the service? No. The service is FREE to users who are looking for what they need, and businesses can register for FREE. If a business wants to enhance their listing, there is a small fee for that service. Advertisers are the major support of the site. |

3. Why would I use Town Greeters when I can just ask my neighbors for recommendations? A personal recommendation is always useful, but may be limited. We give you more options, along with methods for contacting the business to make sure they are what you are looking for. There is an option to put a “review” on the advertiser’s listing, so you may also get the recommendation you are looking for. |

5. How do companies participate? The Town Greeters website has a number of sponsorship options, all of which are either FREE or really, really economical, especially when compared with other internet advertising rates. You can enhance your listing for as little as $9.95 a month. A limited amount of space ads and banner advertising space is also available. 6. How do I renew my Town Greeters listing? Your listing will remain in effect until you cancel it. You will have the option to make changes or enhance your listing at any time with your own private i.d. code. If your business has an enhanced listing, you will register with a credit or debit card which will be charged each month until you cancel your listing. |

7. How do I cancel my Town Greeters registration? You can cancel at any time, for any reason. We want your participation to more than pay for itself in new business, but if it doesn’t, we want to still part as friends. Just send us an e-mail and it’s done. We’ll remove your listing immediately or at the date you specify. Sorry, no refunds, especially for the FREE listings. |

8. How long has Town Greeters been in business? Town Greeters Welcoming Service began in 2002 as direct mail advertising to new homeowners, but left out a lot of people. The website, however, proved to be more useful to everyone, so we eliminated direct mail part and are expanding the website format. It will be an evolving, ever-expanding process, growing and becoming more beneficial to users and advertisers alike. |
